Ivy Tech Community College’s School of Business will hold its Second Annual Ivy Innovate competition for Ivy Tech students taking a beginning entrepreneur class. The competition is based on the popular television show “Shark Tank.”
Students give a two to three minute elevator pitch for their small business idea to a panel of judges who choose four to five finalists. The finalists present a 5 to 7 minute executive presentation of their business plan. Judges scores determine the winner.
The public is invited to watch the competition at MatchBOX Co-Working Studio, 17 S. Sixth Street in downtown Lafayette, on Thursday, May 1 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
