Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa honor society

The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor society chapter based in the Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette region inducted 25 new members during a ceremony held March 6 on the Lafayette campus. The new members are:

PTK is an international honor society that recognizes and encourages scholarship among students in two-year colleges. PTK provides opportunities for stimulation of interest in continuing academic success and for the development of leadership and service. Membership is based primarily on academic achievement.

To be accepted into PTK, students must have earned at least 12 program-level or college-level credit hours, have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, and are currently enrolled.
