Students in the Dental Assisting program at Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette are hosting their Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Sidewalk Carnival on Saturday, March 30, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will be held on the Lafayette campus at 3101 S. Creasy Lane, Lafayette.
The public event raises funds for student scholarships and to support the Dental Assisting Program. The program operates a community dental clinic during the school year that provides free dental checkups from a local dentist assisted by Ivy Tech students.
Egg hunts will be held by age category as listed below:
Ages 0-2, 11:30 am
Ages 3-5, 12:30 pm
Ages 6-9, 1:30 pm
Ages 10 and up, 2:30 pm
The sidewalk carnival will be open during the entire event. The carnival includes over 40 games with prizes, pictures with the Easter Bunny, bounce house, entertainment, food and drinks. The Lafayette Fire Department and the Lafayette Police D.A.R.E. will be on hand.
The event is co-sponsored by K105, ESPN 1450AM, WASK, WKHY, B102.9, and Elite Sounds.
